Sonnets for an Old Century
“Where do we go when we die? And if you were to offer commentary regarding the life that you’ve lived, “What would you say?”
I’m so excited to announce my final performance as Kiersten Van Horne in UC San Diego’s Undergraduate production of Sonnets for an Old Century directed by Kym Pappas. Written by José Rivera, this play begs the questions “Where do we go when we die? And if you were to offer commentary regarding the life that you’ve lived, “What would you say?”
What would you say? What would Kiersten Van Horne say? What would I say? To be honest, I don’t know. I don’t think any of us really know but one thing I do know is the surreal feeling knowing that I’ll no longer be an undergrad after this performance, especially with graduation fast approaching. However, having the opportunity to work with Kym Pappas again after working with her in Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. is one thing I’m looking most forward to. If there’s anyone who can help me find the words, the right words to say, it’s Kym Pappas.
