One Final Bow
Thank you UC San Diego Theatre and Dance.
And just like that, it’s over, it’s actually over. Last night was my final performance as an Undergrad at UC San Diego. To say that this is play is one that I’m most proud of is a complete understatement. I’ve never felt more connected and dedicated to a character than I did with this one. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean this in a way that I haven’t been dedicated to all other play’s I’ve performed in, but I think it’s because, in a way, these were my final words at UC San Diego as these were Kiersten Van Horne’s.
These last two years I’ve spent at UC San Diego have molded me into an Actor I never thought I could be. This program has pushed me harder than I had ever pushed myself and has helped me to realize what i’m truly capable of and that the only thing holding me back from reaching my full potential is myself. What i’m most proud of is having found this new self confidence in my art that I hadn’t had before. Needless to say, it’s been challenging, exciting, frustrating, exhilarating and memorable and the only thing truly left to say is, Thank you UC San Diego Theatre and Dance.
